Valencia CF will play CF La Nucia in their first Copa del Rey fixture of 2023, as they join the competition at the Round of 32 stage.
The draw, held at the Ciudad del Fútbol in La Rozas, Madrid, decided the matchups for the next round of Spain's premier cup tournament. As participants in the Spanish Supercopa, thanks to their having finished runners-up in the 2022 Copa del Rey, Valencia CF were exempt from participation in the previous rounds, and were only able to be drawn against Segunda División RFEF or Primera División RFEF sides.
Opponents CF La Nucia compete in the third tier of Spanish football, and made it through to the Round of 32 after beating Hércules CF 2-4 in extra time and UD Las Palmas on penalties, respectively.
The game will take place on January 3rd at the Estadio Olímpico Camilo Cano at 7 pm kick-off time.
